Do you spend countless hours searching for and watching “how to” videos on YouTube about anything related to music production?

Are you tired of searching the internet for information related to music production that can help you get to the next level?

If any of these questions sound like something you’ve experienced, consider taking a course with Gemini Edutainment designed to increase your industry knowledge, build your production skills, and get you moving on a path toward your goal.

Our music production course contains 17 modules of information arranged and organized in an easy to understand series of interactive videos. There are also 4 bonus modules covering copyrighting, publishing, royalties and microphones. Your membership includes lifetime access to the current material and all future updates.

The course begins with an intro to music production, which covers the duties and responsibilities of a music producer and defines several terms you’ll need to be familiar with over the course of your career.

Module 2 covers song composition and structure. You’ll learn the formulas professional producers use to create award winning compositions.

Module 3 covers song arrangement. This will address instrument arrangement as well as sequence arrangement.

Module 4 will introduce timing and tempo. You’ll cover different time signatures, BPMs, doubling and halving tempos and creating mood and energy within a song.

Module 5 is where you’ll cover sequences and sequencing. This is where you’ll learn to build parts of  the song and put them in order.

Module 6 is music theory and composition. This is where the “ear candy” is added. You’ll cover key signatures, scales, chords, chord progression, and melodies.

Module 7 is about scale modes. This will give you the flexibility to utilize any scale mode to create any sound or any mood you want to convey to your listeners.

Module 8 covers chords and chord progression. After being introduced to chords and chord progression in module 6, you’ll revisit them here in greater detail. Make no mistake about it, chord progression is one of the key areas that can separate your sound from everyone else’s.

Module 9 is sound design. In this module you’ll learn what it means to design your own sounds. This is another key area for creating your individual sound.

Module 10 covers samples and sampling. If you’re into using samples to create songs, this section is for you. Combining this module with module 11 will shed light on the art of taking and using samples in music production.

Module 11 continues covering sampling and adds beat making. It covers how the two work together in song creation.

Module 12 covers digital work stations. Likely the most significant decision you’ll make about purchasing gear will come down to which DAW you decide to work with. This module will cover the most popular industry standard DAWs and take out some of the guess work involved in making a purchase decision.

Module 13 will address live production. As live production differs from studio production, this module will cover some of the differences to be familiar with.

Module 14 addresses recording techniques. Like the saying goes, “there’s more than one way to skin a cat”. The same principle applies to recording techniques. This module will help familiarize you with some of the different techniques used throughout the industry and help you establish a workflow.

Module 15 covers editing and pre-mixing. This is where you will learn to give your music projects that professional sound. Few elements impact the creation of a song as dynamically as the mixing process. Having a good understanding of editing and pre-mixing processes will help you bring out the clarity and emotion you’re trying to convey to your audience.

Module 16 is project management. Music producers carry a ton of responsibility with regards to producing songs or albums. There are several things to stay on top of and things can get overwhelming if you don’t have a good plan or good organizational skills.

Module 17 is music business and marketing. If song recording, production, editing and mixing is where the money is made, this is where the money is collected. Knowing how to produce great music will get you nowhere if you don’t know the business side of things. This module, along with the bonuses will cover what you need to know about how the money is collected and what to expect .
